Is it possible to put a rubber sole / hard on a pair of moccasins soft sole? I want to buy a pair of moccasins, but they have a flexible sole on the bottom. I just want to know if it is possible to put a shoe drive for them and how they would go about doing that before I buy these shoes.
Get soft-soled moccasins, then package them with mink oil. soft-soled moccasins are much more comfortable
Have you read his question? He wants to know about building the plant. mink oil will soften them, but will do nothing to make them more resistant to wear. Report Abuse
Sure, go to a place of supply of leather, you can buy rubber soles and cement contact. You can also get the contact cement in a heavy hardware. If you want to go hardcore DIY, get an old tire, preferably not a radial (you do not want steel reinforced tires), cut open, and draws a pair of shoes inside the tire, and cut tracks, so when you paste the soles of your moccasins, the tread is on the bottom.
Put the soles of moccasins and stuck between the boards, and clamp around, or the weight of heavy objects for at least 24 hours.
