Can you help me decide what to do with my pregnancy? I need 20 pls answers!? 38 weeks pregnant
for two weeks, I have been suffering from sciatic nerve is being pinched by the baby and bed rest. It is very painful, the doctor did some tests I discovered that ER and the blood does not circulate well on my legs and I can develop clogs blood, so he gave me two options:
1-have a caesarean section next week to relieve all this pain and have normal legs
Wait 2-bed rest until i deliver, I have 2 more weeks to go, the more it can go much further since this is my first baby and I have no signs of labor. I feel good (other than the horrible leg pain and immobility)
Also going to see an orthopedist, who has doubts, they can solve the problem, and take a drug such as Vicodin, which I refuse, I'd rather have the pain
PLEASE me what you choose. I WANTED to provide this VAGINAL baby to have a quick recovery, but now I'm scared and confused???
I had a caesarean section and had a quick recovery. I beg them to make me the devil of this hospital and I walked very well the next day (after taking prescription MOTRIN!) Just sayin ...
There are advantages and disadvantages to both. UPS caesarean the risk of blood clots as well, and you must stay in the hospital a day longer. vaginal delivery, you'll be hurt beyond belief just in a different area, you may still need a cesarean after waiting and hard work and you will suffer for 2 more weeks of pain. I had an emergency Caesarean section after 12 hours and 5 good drives baby is almost ready to leave when his heart rate was fluctuating. I will choose a caesarean for my neighbor because I could not handle the pain, there!
If you choose caesarean talk to your doc to order ibuprofen to you immediately after surgery while you are in the recovery room!
Do not wait until you start to feel pain. Ibuprofen is an anti-inflammatory and has worked at the morphine did not.
Good luck. I'm sorry that you are in pain that sucks.
Ask your doctor if you have an induction rather than a cesarean, if you want to deliver vaginally. It will make a mite stronger contractions, but you can always ask an epidural!
I hope you feel better soon! <3 It will be useful to have this beautiful baby in your arms!
honestly c-sections are not the best I've had one with my son, but really I think is baby. You do not want to risk your health or your baby
In your position, if you can manage it, I would keep the baby there for another two weeks until it is completed. In this way, he has the chance to fully develop all that is needed. If it goes longer than that, then I would talk to incite or caesarean section. And good job on not Vicodin.
I would say that if your baby is healthy enough to go ahead and do it. Good luck and congratulations on your arrival.
be encouraged to ask instead is what I would do.
Good luck and congratulations.
it is not easy. C-sections take longer to recover, but will prevent heart clots legs, etc. vaginal deliveries also give you a lil proximity to the heart and experience.
Bed rest is not funny, either .. but do u go naturally. However, you dnt want to wait too long and possibly damage the heart or leg nerves.
I see ur situation and there are pro and cons of each. However, I was opting for Caesarean section next week. probs Less chance of permanent nerve or leg.
But it's just me. I know you will make the right choice, no matter what you choose.
I personally think I would do the c section ... im getting induced on Thursday because of low liquid content. but idk it depends if you think you can take the pain any longer and take the risk or clots .. But I would section C.
Why not simply be induced next week and have a d. vaginal
