Dress shoes on a woman and a man

A dress shoe (U.S. English) is a shoe used as a component of formal wear. A dress shoe is generally opposed to an athletic shoe shoe.Dress are widely used in dance and parties and special occasions.

Men's Dress Shoes
Men's dress shoes are mostly black or color of Cordoba. Other colors are: brown, burgundy, oxblood, brown or white.

Loafers
Loafers come in two styles for men and women. It is not unusual for a man lazy to have a tassel, although a tassel can be seen in the varieties of women too. In reality, men and women loafers are very similar, which explains why the flaneur is generally considered a more masculine shoe.

Oxford
Oxford lace and tie to keep them on the foot of the wearer. They are usually made of leather, but can also be constructed of suede and other similar materials. Some of Oxford have an additional piece of sewn on the foot section.

Brogues
Brogues, or wingtips (on behalf of American Standard), are similar to Oxford, but different in that the additional piece of sewn on the toe part is W-shaped, resembling that of a scale bird, hence the American name of these shoes. While a dialect is a specific shoe, the term "wing tip" can be any type of shoe that has the form W on the toe, including boots.

Dress Shoes Women
Women's dress shoes come in a variety of colors: black, silver, gold, white or beige dress and they can also match the color of the dress or coveralls. Almost all the women dress shoes are high heels.

Pumps
The pumps are generally regarded as a staple in the wardrobe of a woman, and come in a variety of colors and styles. They may have a blunt or sharp, and are usually made of leather. They have a heel of at least 5 cm (2 inches). Today the pumps have evolved beyond the traditional woman's shoe work. Now, there are peep toe pumps, which have a small opening at the toe. There are also pumps with ankle straps. Not only the styles have evolved, so have tissues. While almost all pumps used to be leather, pumps are now available in a variety of materials including suede and wool.

Slingbacks
The rear flange is similar to the pump in that it can have a blunt or sharp, and has usually a heel, but it does not wrap around the heel, as usual pumps. Instead, it has a narrow strap that is pulled up on the heel, leaving the rest of the heel exposed.

Loafers
Moccasins are generally flat and generally regarded as more masculine and more comfortable than anything with a heel. The typical loafer has a square toe, and comes in darker colors, like black or brown. A ride on the stroller is the mantle, which is a slip-on shoes, like the flacneur is, but he is a heel and a little more feminine than the average stroller.
Mules

Mules are shoes that slip on the foot, and do not cover the heel or the back foot at all. They are not considered dress shoes unless you have a heel.

Ballet Flats
The ballet flat has not been a fad popular until sometime during the last five years. From the art of ballet, as their name indicates, these are flat shoes with a curved tip and come in many colors and patterns. The ballet flat has a small bow on the big toe, but this style has evolved to include varieties without bows.

Sandals
Although the sandals are generally more casual, there are sandals that can be worn with dress clothes. For example, a sandal that has a heel, many straps, or a shiny finish would probably be acceptable in a more formal atmosphere.
