Good diabetic shoes? Hello everyone! My mothers birthday is coming and I was thinking to buy comfortable shoes. Since she has diabetes, I was wondering if anyone had suggestions on what type of brand / shoes should I get?
I went on www.drewshoe.com, and their women's shoes are on sale for 29.99 ... nobody knows if it is for women with diabetes? or just normal shoes?
Thank you:)
Honestly, people with diabetes don 'need special shoes.
We need comfort, support shoes that goes well.
You're not going to line you have no idea what your mothers feet are shaped, etc.
Bring it to a decent shoe shop, and get a good pair of comfortable shoes, we do not need expensive 'diabetic' shoes, they just fit well.
I always wear the same style of Skechers I have worn for about 20 years now. I get them to fashion in general bugs, but they have many other places too. It is a type of clog white athletic shoe. The nurses wear them, but they do not look like nurse shoes.
The important thing is that the shoes fit properly and have adequate support. Do not buy on the Internet or by catalog. She needs to try and walk a bit.
All kinds of shoes for diabetics and arthritis.
