Comfortable Shoes

At work, I'm on my feet almost all day. I have cute shoes ... but they hurt so bad. My feet are very wide and it is almost impossible to find comfortable shoes - even ballerinas are too painful. The place I work is considered business casual (people are allowed to wear Birkenstocks). I usually wear khakis, sweaters, stuff like that ... anyone have any ideas of beautiful shoes that will not affect my feet?

Your feet hurt because you're in the wrong size. You can not buy the cutest shoes on the shelf, and expect them to feel good when your feet are not standard sizes. You must buy shoes large width. As to the suggestion of style, regardless of the degree of comfort, style is in general, it will not feel that way when it is too tight on your feet. Get measured at any shoe store to see exactly what the width you need. Most women's sizes are of a width CD. If you need wider, then you'll find a specialty store.

If you can wear a regular width wide, so you can find in any decent shoe store. Just ask to see "casual shoes" to your size they have in stock. Casual can be many styles, but excludes sports shoes, pumps and high heels. If you're on a tight budget, try Payless. They usually have a good selection of shoes wide width. Avoid any other discount stores, they are not very wide, or if they do, the choice is poor.

If you need larger sizes, E or more, then you'll have to spend money for them. But it will be well worth every penny when your feet stop evil.

My older sister has very large feet as well, and she found that Payless has a lot of really comfortable shoes. If you find a pair that you really like, you can always add insoles for them as well to make them easier to maintain throughout the day.
