Is there a difference between roller skating and figure skating boots boots? I was looking for a website and found the fact Reidel face and figure skating boots. I participated in both sports, but do not really see a difference in the boots - with the exception of price. Does anyone know what is the difference? Theoretically, I could not just use the boots for roller skates instead of figure skating are they?
Artistic Roller boots are less "stiff" figure ice skating boots. Riedel boosted support in their figure skating boots in the last 15 years. They have also added to the heat molding their ice skates, I do not think they added artistic roller boots. (I could be wrong.)
Since ice skating blades are so much lighter than cars, roller skates, shoe boots, ice skate is lighter / thinner. Reinforcements were added to prevent the assembled skate heavier damage the boots.
I know several people who are retired (not working) face of ice skating boots, blades removed, and added assembly line skates (PicSkates). Recycling is a good thing, according to them!
First I'll start by assuming you're referring to the roller skating, as opposed to ice skating, figure skating and roller skating dance.
dancing shoes and boots included vary in their support. Skating figures based on balance and accuracy are much more rigid and difficult to break in. A pair of figure skates is generally much more expensive among the plates, the type of wheels, number of bearings, etc.. With all new, my last pair of figure skates was about $ 700 + and that was nine years ago. Dance / skates are much easier to break and you need this flexibility to skate well.
